Sholto Kynoch: piano recital
24 February 2024, 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Sholto Kynoch, Artistic Director of Oxford Song, gives a short solo piano recital at St Andrew's Church in Headington, in support of music at St Andrew's Primary School. He plays works by Schubert, Grieg, Chaminade, Granados and Rachmaninov. The concert will last not more than an hour. Sholto will introduce all the works in the programme, which includes favourites such as Grieg's 'Wedding Day at Troldhaugen' and Rachmaninov's Prelude in C-sharp minor.
The bar will be open at the end of the concert: please stay for a drink afterwards.
Tickets are £5 for adults and £2 for children, but we've given the option of paying £10 or £15 if you feel able: all funds from this event will go to St Andrew's C of E Primary School, to support musical activities in the school. All tickets are unreserved seating.
