"As always the front of house staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The exciting atmosphere [of the Festival] is infectious and I always end up going to more events than first intended and then when it's all over regretting the few that I hadn't been to!" - audience member

Box Office & Membership Manager
Our small team is kind, friendly, supportive, hard-working, open-minded, and ambitious. We strive for excellence in our artistic programming, our educational work, our administrative processes, and the ways in which we welcome our audiences and take care of our artists and donors.

We are seeking a like-minded team member to join us in the central role of Box Office & Membership Manager. We are looking for someone who can provide efficient and friendly customer service to our audience and supporters; help to drive sales and memberships; manage our CRM software brilliantly; enjoy delving into our data to inform artistic direction, marketing and strategic planning; and contribute to our happy team working environment.

Further information about this role and details of how to apply can be found here.
The closing deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 2 September 2024.
First round interviews will take place online 5-6 September with second round interviews in-person in Oxford on 9-10 September.

Festival Assistants 2024
Our Festival Assistants (FAs) are enthusiastic, dedicated and hard-working individuals who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Festival. Reporting to the Director of Administration, and working closely with the Oxford Song team, FAs will take on a range of duties covering all aspects of the Festival, including box office support, marketing, artist liaison, concert management, page-turning, and front-of-house. Our FAs play a vital role supporting the work of Oxford Song, and help to ensure the overall success of the Festival.

FA roles are ideally suited to someone looking to gain experience in arts administration and event management - previous FAs have gone on to enjoy successful careers in these areas.

Further details are available here and we warmly welcome applications. The closing deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 19 August. Interviews will be held online and we anticipate filling all vacancies by 30 August.

Festival Volunteers 2024
We rely on our friendly team of volunteers to make the Festival a success. There are many ways you can get involved – stewarding concerts, page-turning, providing airport transfers and home stays for our international artists. In exchange, you will get to experience some exceptional concerts for free. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Kate Swinburne-Johnson to express your interest (kate@oxfordsong.org).
