Stories in Song

Welcome to the Oxford International Song Festival 2025. Telling stories is a fundamental element of song, and in this year's Festival (10-25 October) we explore stories in many different forms. Recitals are given by artists including Benjamin Appl, Helen Charlston, Roderick Williams, Camilla Tilling, Sir John Tomlinson, and many others. The sixty seven Festival events include concerts and talks from morning to late at night, and our popular Schubert Weekend is extended to a four-day celebration. The music ranges from 15-century lute songs to newly-commissioned works, as well as choral and chamber music, dance and more.
