Effervescent soprano Claire Booth performs her acclaimed programme of cabaret-inspired songs with pianist Jâms Coleman. Richard Stokes, author of The Book of Lieder, introduces the poetry of Eduard Mörike in the 150th anniversary of the poet’s death. This precedes the evening recital given by star German baritone Christian Immler, with pianist Anne Le Bozec, in a programme of Mörike settings by Hugo Wolf: a collection of songs representing the ultimate fusion of words and music. Between these events, another of our Young Artist showcase concerts takes a musical journey on the Orient Express.
