Festival Passes 2027

Passes are on sale now, and we invite you to join us for an uplifting, immersive and life-enhancing Festival experience, in a convivial community of like-minded music lovers. Both Weekly Passes are extended to ten days, to include the full Schubert Weekend, itself a four-day feast. The central Saturday (16th October) will include a special Schubert recital exclusively for Passholders, and the Weekly and Full Passes will also include a tour of one of our partner colleges.

FULL FESTIVAL PASS
(8–23 October 2027)
Dive in with the ultimate Festival experience: full aggess to all sixteen days, with dozens of events and a huge range of exceptional artists and wonderful repertoire. The Festival is one of the world's leading celebrations of the art of song, and the immersive enjoyment of taking in its full breadth is an experience like no other.

WEEKLY PASS
(Week One: 8–17 October 2027) (Week Two: 14–23 October 2027)
As well as including the central Schubert Weekend, singers appearing at the Festival will include Roderick Williams, Mark Padmore, Benjamin Appl, Ema Nikolovska, Andrè Schuen, Marie-Laure Garnier, Rachel Nicholls, Helen Charlston, Simon Keenlyside, Claire Booth, Samuel Hasselhorn, Sarah Wegener, Mary Bevan, Martha Guth, Konstantin Krimmel, and many others.

SCHUBERT WEEKEND PASS
(14–17 October 2027)
As we build towards the Schubert bicentenary in 2028, the heart of the Festival is the four-day Schubert Weekend, with a focus on the impact of Beethoven's music and death in 1827 on Schubert. Stephan Loges pairs Beethoven's An die ferne Geliebte with Schubert's Einsamkeit, a homage to Beethoven's cycle, and the violinist Viktoria Mullova joins Alasdair Beatson for Schubert's A major duo, and Beethoven's 'Kreutzer' sonata.

Graham Johnson continues his peerless exploration of Schubert's life 200 years on, always a centrepiece of the Festival. Joanna Neilly delves into Winterreise in the cycle's 200th year, with a particular focus on its poet, Wilhelm Müller.

The Consone Quartet perform their programme 'Beethoven's Mixtape', and the weekend will include both books of Schubert's Impromptus. Christian Immler sings Schubert songs alongside Jörg Widmann's cycle Das heiße Herz. The ensemble Schubert & Co. recreate an original Schubertiade, and the inimitable Erlkings return with their unique take on Beethoven and Schubert, raising the roof of the Holywell Music Room.
