The Great American Songbook in summer

THE BARBARA & KATHARINE GOULD MEMORIAL CONCERT

We are delighted to present this summer jazz concert in collaboration with St Hilda's College and the Jacqueline du Pré Music Building, supported by Harry Gould Jr in loving memory of Barbara and Katherine Gould. 

Enjoy a glass of wine on the riverside lawns of St Hilda’s College before the exceptional New York-based singer Carole J Bufford performs songs from the Great American Songbook, joined by an array of leading jazz artists from the US and UK.

Following a series of memorable performances at the Lincoln Centre in New York during the last decade, we are thrilled to bring this concert and special group of artists to Oxford for the first time. Carole J Bufford will be joined by bandleader James Langton, Dan Levinson (clarinetist and saxophonist), Rossano Sportiello (pianist) and others.
