Young Arist Platform auditions
17 February 2013, 3:00pm - 9:45pm
Recitals at 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm.
With the generous support of Jesus College & the Kohn Foundation, trufflehunter and the Jean Meikle Music Trust, we once again hold auditions to find this year’s Oxford Lieder Young Artist from the new generation of outstanding young performers. We are delighted to welcome the renowned baritone Roderick Williams as our adjudicator.
Each shortlisted duo performs a 40-minute programme in Oxford on 17th February, and the winning duo will act as ambassadors for song, being awarded a series of recitals around the country. Anyone who has heard previous winners' recitals at the Festival will know the exceptional level of talent this award attracts.
Recitals take place on the hour from 3pm, with a 20-minute break between each, and a supper break at 6pm.
