Carin Bartosch Edström – Four Nocturnal Songs (WORLD PREMIERE)

Anna Larsson is described as having “overwhelming breadth, warmth and sensitivity” (Financial Times).  She is joined by Sweden’s leading accompanist, Matti Hivornen. Their programme includes songs by Gösta Nystroem – rarely performed outside Sweden, without just cause – and Ture Rangström, acknowledged as one of Sweden’s finest song composers. They also perform songs by Strauss and Mahler as well as giving the world premiere of a song cylce by Carin Bartosch Edström.
