Choral Eucharist at Worcester College Chapel

16 October 2014, 5:00pm - 6:00pm

As part of the Sung Eucharist service, the Chapel Choir of Worcester College, perform parts of the Mass in F, D105. This work was first performed 200 years ago today at the Liechtental Church in Vienna, with the composer conducting and the solos sung by Therese Grob (see lunchtime concert). It was in fact the first time Schubert's music was heard in public. The choir of Worcester College is joined by soprano Raphaela Papadakis.

Enjoy Schubert’s first setting of the Mass in the stunning setting of Worcester’s highly ornate chapel. Please note this is a religious service, not a concert.
