FIlm screening: Tony Palmer's Nocturne (introduced by the director)

PLEASE NOTE A CHANGE OF DATE FOR THIS EVENT. Due to emergency repairs to the roof of the Phoenix Picturehouse, this event has been moved to Friday 25th October. If you've already bought a ticket, the Phoenix should be in touch to offer a refund or a transfer to the new date. This event is still included in the Week One Pass, and will now be offered to Week Two Pass holders as well.

Tony Palmer's films about Benjamin Britten have been widely acclaimed and we are delighted to host a screening of his latest film,Nocturne. Tony Palmer will introduce the film, which examines Britten's uneasy relationship with the wider world and his role as a creative artist in such a world.
