Franz Liszt
22 October 2026, 5:15pm - 6:15pm
Alexander Krichel is one of the finest pianists of his generation, with five Sony Classical recordings and an ECHO Klassik award to his name. Today he brings a composer with whom he has a long affiliation, Franz Liszt, appropriately on the composer’s 215th birthday! The programme includes the devilish Mephisto Waltz, the hit-tune Liebestraum and some of Liszt’s many showstopping transcriptions, including the famous Liebestod from Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde.
