The second concert covering Wolf’s complete settings of Goethe also features songs by Schubert, Zelter and Loewe, including Loewe’s stunning quartet, “Gesang der Geister”. Christine Rice, Adrian Thompson and Roderick Williams need little introduction as today’s foremost singers.
