This concert is the conclusion of Oxford Lieder’s three-year project to perform and record the complete songs of Hugo Wolf. His epic collection of Goethe’s poetry concludes with three of his most profound songs; “Prometheus”, “Ganymed” and “Grenzen der Menschheit”, performed by an impressive team of singers. A selection of Schubert's Goethe settings complete the programme.
