Lobo Requiem: Choir of The Queen’s College & Owen Rees
27 October 2018, 4:30pm 27 July 2024 - 12:40am
Portuguese composer Duarte Lobo was one of the most significant renaissance choral composers, and his Requiem is a masterpiece that was also a hugely popular work in antiquarian circles in England and France well into the nineteenth century. Performed by the renowned Choir of The Queen’s College, Oxford, this continues our tradition of a requiem performance on the final day of the Festival, as All Souls’ Day approaches.
