Masterpiece: Paul Verlaine

20 October 2015, 11:00am - 11:20am

Sinéad O'Kelly soprano
Chad Vindin piano

Debussy's two sets of Fête Galantes with readings of Verlaine in French and English.

Two outstanding young musicians perform Debussy's wonderful response to the poetry of Paul Verlaine. This is one of a series of 'pop-up' style concerts during the Festival that are completely free, offering a chance for everyone to enjoy a short, sweet burst of music and poetry, perhaps trying it out for the first time.

We're very grateful to the Bodleian Libraries for agreeing to host today's event in the stunning setting of the Divinity School.
