Roderick Williams' recent Naxos release of Finzi songs has received universal acclaim, and tonight he will perform one of Finzi's greatest song cycles, Earth, Air and Rain, as well as Schumann's Op.24 Liederkreis (to poems by Heine). Andrew West is in great demand as a soloist, chamber musician and song accompanist. He has been involved in this year's Wigmore Hall celebrations of the Michael Tippett centenary, and he and Roderick Williams will also perform Tippett's Songs for Ariel.
