Anna Stéphany and Jonathan Beatty took first prize and the accompanist's prize at this year's Kathleen Ferrier Awards, and Anna went on to win the Guildhall Gold Medal at the Barbican in London only a week later. Their programme this evening will revolve around the ancient craft of storytelling, with songs by Schubert, Mahler, Haydn, Grainger and Ravel.
