Schumann (Liederkreis Op. 39) & settings of Victor Hugo

We welcome mezzo-soprano Ciara Hendrick in a programme of Schumann (settings of Eichendorff, including the Liederkreis Op. 39) and French song (settings of Victor Hugo). Ciara last came to the Festival in 2006, since which time her career has been taking off, singing at Glyndebourne, Garsington, and on many other major stages. We are delighted that she is able to return to Oxford.
