Study Event: Fauré Notes

19 October 2015, 1:30pm - 3:30pm

A workshop led by Roy Howat, editor of the new complete Fauré songs published by Edition Peters. Together with students from the Royal Academy of Music, he examines new takes on well-known songs and illuminates Fauré’s working method.

Roy Howat is internationally renowned as both pianist and scholar whose concerts, broadcasts and lectures regularly take him worldwide. For today's event, he will work with exceptional RAM students, giving a fascinating insight into the performance of Fauré's songs and the process behind preparing a new edition.
