Winterreise - Florian Boesch (baritone) & Andrew West (piano)

11 October 2008, 8:00pm

Austrian baritone Florian Boesch has a particular affinity with English audiences, who have been flocking to hear him at Wigmore Hall, the Edinburgh and Cheltenham Festivals, Aldeburgh and other prestigious UK venues. The press responses to his singing have been universally exceptional, not surprisingly given the reputation he already has on the continent.

Florian Boesch will sing Schubert’s great masterpiece, Winterreise, with pianist Andrew West. When any great musicians approach this piece in concert, audiences can be sure of a very special and memorable evening. He has already performed the cycle in New York, Tokyo, Vienna and at the Schubertiade in Graz, all to great acclaim.
