The closing day of the Festival. In the early afternoon, our eight Young Artist duos give a concert showcasing what they have achieved over the intensive Mastercourse week. Up at St Edward’s School, the Choir of The Queen’s College and their director Owen Rees perform favourite choral works. The closing concert, marking 25 years of the Festival, takes place in the Olivier Hall at St Edward’s, with an uplifting programme that includes a new work by Associate Composer Emily Hazrati and songs and ensembles by Debussy, Chaminade, Brahms and Schubert with a team of artists including soprano Nardus Williams and mezzo Katie Bray. A joyous conclusion to the Festival!
