On Saturday 28th January, John Mark Ainsley and Roger Vignoles begin 2012 for us with Schumann's magnificent song cycle Dichterliebe. In April we have a wonderful weekend of song at the Holywell Music Room, featuring the fifth installment of our performance and recording of the complete songs of Hugo Wolf, a concert given by Joan Rogers, Roderick Williams and Roger Vignoles, and a recital in tribute to Kathleen Ferrier. Hot on the heels of this, we will audition our next round of outstanding young musicians, competing for the Oxford Lieder Young Artists Platform and the chance to be our "ambassadors" of song.
