Seldom wanting to pass judgement on others
He'd yet have made a first-rate magistrate:
Tolerant of magdalenes and errant mothers
And working men inclined to agitate,
Their cruel or hypocritical brothers,
He'd never ever fail to castigate.
Yes, Justice Juan would have proved Byronical;
To be otherwise would have been ironical.
