Povez mi, synecku 'Calumny'
Czech source:
Folk Poem
"Galánečko moja, enom na protivá."
Co ti tam, synečku, co ti tam pravili?
"Galánečko moja, tebe pomlúvali."
Co's ty jim, synečku, co's jim na to říkal?
"Galánečko moja, smutně sem si vzdychal."
Eščeli, synečku, eščeli k nám půjdeš?
"Galánečko moja, dokád živa dubeš."

Man: "My sweetheart, on the opposite / other side" ( ...of the road: at the neighbours)
Woman: What are you doing, my dear lad? What did they tell you?
Man: "My darling, you were slandered."
Woman: What's wrong with you, my dear lad? What did you say to them?
Man: "My darling, I sighed sadly."
Woman: If, my dear lad, if you will come back to us?
Man: "My sweetheart, as long as you live."
