On the closing day of the Festival, join in with Song Club, support and enjoy the brilliant Mastercourse students in their showcase concert, and experience an elaborate 19th century salon entertainment. The Festival draws to a close with a celebratory double concert, featuring the star tenor Toby Spence and joyously inventive vocal ensemble I Fagiolini.

Two concerts in one evening! In the Holywell Music Room, Toby Spence and Sholto Kynoch, joined by the outstanding young soprano Isabelle Peters, perform songs by Franz Schubert, inspired by the artist Caspar David Friedrich. In the University Church, we enjoy the glorious sound of I Fagiolini as they present a specially devised programme in response to Pieter Brueghel the Younger’s cycle of paintings, The Seasons.
