An evening at the Ashmolean with Dorottya Lang, André Morsch, Julius Drake & Re:Sound

A special evening of music and theatre in three parts:
Dorottya Lang mezzo-soprano André Morsch baritone Julius Drake piano Part One - The classical poems of Johann Baptist Mayrhofer, heard in the remarkable setting of the Randolph Sculpture Gallery, surrounded by Graeco-Roman statues.Part Two - Enjoy a glass of wine in the Atrium, interspersed with partsongs performed by the Festival's resident professional chorus, Ensemble 45.
Part Three - 'After Party', a new play created by music/theatre company Re:Sound for the The Schubert Project, exploring the night Schubert and three friends were arrested by Metternich's secret police, with tragic consequences. 'After Party' will also be popping up at pubs around Oxford during the Festival. Read more about the play here.
