Guided Walk with David Owen Norris

The context for this evening's concert will be enriched with this guided walk around Oxford’s musical sights and sounds illustrated and explained by David Owen Norris.
Open to all, this ticketed event is presented in collaboration with the Parson Woodeforde Society. The walk includes lunch at Keble College and Evensong at New College where Woodforde was Sub-Warden and Philip organist. Music by the Hayses will feature at Evensong and extracts from Woodforde's diary will be read at the concert. Woodforde was a charming diarist who knew both composers, was a subscriber to their Holywell Concerts, and took spinet lessons from Philip.
