Schubert Schwanengesang and songs by Poulenc & Warlock

Swedish baritone Håkan Vramsmo took second prize at the Wigmore Hall International Song Competition in 1999 and in 2000 was selected as a YCAT artist. Since then he has given recitals at venues all over Europe, including recitals at Wigmore Hall with Graham Johnson and Iain Burnside. Clinton Cormany was also the winner of the accompanist's prize at the Wigmore competition. At the heart of this evening's programme is Schwanengesang, Schubert's last song cycle, containing many of his most haunting and beautiful songs.
