Mark Padmore Masterclass

As a former Oxford Song artist in residence, and one of the great voices of the last half-century, tenor Mark Padmore needs no introduction. In today’s masterclass this supreme interpreter of Britten, Schubert, Schumann and Bach works closely with the eight piano / voice duos of Oxford Song’s Young Artist Programme, sharing a lifetime’s insight and craft with the next generation. “I really believe that the most important thing is to communicate”, he says “- to hold an engaged and interesting conversation that includes the composer, the performer and the audience”.
