Song by Franz Schubert (van den Berg /Greenlaw/ Ruszczynski)

16 October 2011, 4:00pm

While still students at the Guildhall, this duo gave an extremely impressive lunchtime recital at the Festival in 2007. Since then they have both secured reputations as outstanding emerging artists and it is a pleasure to welcome them back. Their programme includes settings of Scott, Schütz, Seidl, Leitner and Mayrhofer.

The Schubert weekend features every song Schubert wrote from Die schöne Müllerin in 1823 to the end of his life in 1828 in nine recitals from 14th - 16th October.
