2. Pre-Concert Talk - Jeremy Summerly

In the stunning setting of Convocation House, part of the Bodleian Libraries, Jeremy Summerly introduces our first lute-song recital, Battle Cry. In the first part of this talk, Jeremy will be joined by Helen Charlston and Toby Carr to discuss their concept for this fascinating programme, and their recent recording of the same title. They will illustrate the talk with a couple of songs, before Jeremy also sets the scene for the historical works in the programme.
