28. Claire Booth: Life & Love
19 October 2022, 5:15pm - 6:15pm
Soprano Claire Booth is another illustrious Trinity College alumnus (see previous event), and as well as being a hugely well-known singer, she is an accomplished pianist. She gives the second in our series of self-accompanied recitals, with a programme that includes Schumann’s evergreen cycle Frauenliebe und -leben. She also performs songs by the Venezuelan-born French composer Reynaldo Hahn. Hahn, who is best known for his stunning oeuvre of songs, was also a singer-pianist and famously accompanied himself in recital.
