Auditions for the Oxford Lieder Young Artist Platform

Six exceptional young duos give audition recitals, open to the public and adjudicated by Susan Gritton and Eugene Asti. We received an unprecedented number of high calibre applications this year and have selected six outstanding duos to give a 40-minute recital. 

AUDITION RECITAL SCHEDULE

11.15am to 11.55am: Suzanne Fischer, soprano & Panaretos Kyriatzidis, piano

12.15pm to 12.55pm: Julien van Mellaerts, baritone & Lucy Colquhoun, piano

2pm to 2.40pm: Nika Goric, soprano & Christine Zerafa, piano

3pm to 3.40pm: Peter Aisher, tenor & Lucy Colquhoun, piano

4.15pm to 4.55pm: Lorena Paz, soprano & Johan Barnoin, piano

5.15pm to 5.55pm: Chloe Treharne, mezzo-soprano & Lana Bode, piano

Audition recitals will be shortly followed by the adjudication

Each duo is assessed for their musicianship, communication and programming. Two duos are then selected to be Oxford Lieder's 'ambassadors for song' and give a series of concerts in music clubs, societies and festivals around the country, supported by Oxford Lieder, as well as a recital at the Lieder Festival in October. Expect an exceptionally high standard of performance, a wide range of repertoire and a thrilling day of music making.
