Our Schubert Weekend, covers every song from Die schöne Müllerin of 1823 to his death in 1828. We begin with three exceptional artists and a wonderful programme.

Birgid Steinberger is one of Austria’s leading recitalists and has performed on all the major international stages. She is joined by Graham Johnson, considered a world-authority on Schubert’s songs, and renowned clarinettist Joy Farrall. Their programme includes the famous Mignon songs and the ever-enchanting Der Hirt auf dem Felsen (“The Shepherd on the Rock”). An ideal way to begin our survey of these great works!
