Based on Gerald Finzi's song cycle A Young Man's Exhortation

John Mark Ainsley (tenor), Victoria Newlyn (actor) and Iain Burnside (piano)

Renowned pianist, broadcaster and now writer-director, Iain Burnside presents a fascinating look at Gerald Finzi and Thomas Hardy through a performance of the cycle A Young Man’s Exhortation and readings of other illuminating poems. He is joined by one the world’s leading tenors John Mark Ainsley and actress Victoria Newlyn.

Please note that this recital will last for approximately one hour and there will be no interval.
