Schools' Project 2023

Join us for the culmination of our work this term with St Frideswide Primary School. Six classes in years 3 - 6 have taken part in singing and composition workshops to compose melodies for songs to go with lyrics they have written in class.
Years 3 and 4 used a visit to the Ashmolean Museum as inspiration for their songs, whilst years 5 and 6 drew inspiration from their trip to the Buscot & Coleshill estate where they learnt about its secret wartime history.
The classes all come together for this celebratory concert to present the works they have composed under the guidance of inspirational workshop leader John Webb. Supported by mezzo-soprano Katie Macdonald and pianist Joseph Cavalli-Price, this concert promises to showcase some creative and energising new works!
All parents, carers, friends, supporters of the St Frideswide community and members of the public are warmly invited to attend. Attendance is free - just turn up on the day, there is no need to book tickets in advance.
