FAIRYTALES FOR GROWN-UPS: BABA YAGA

Performance storytelling by Ben Haggarty & Sarah Liisa Wilkinson

The Crick Crack Club is the UK’s leading performance storytelling producer, creating ‘exuberant, intelligent, wild, weird and wonderful events’. Tonight, their founder and storytelling pioneer Ben Haggarty is joined by one of the brightest new talents in British storytelling, Sarah Liisa Wilkinson. They bring us two stories, both of which feature the mysterious figure from Slavic folklore Baba Yaga: ‘Vasilisa & the Doll’ and ‘Brother & Sister’. Expect powerful drama and gripping intrigue, perfectly complementing tonight’s performance of Baba Yaga: Songs & Dances of Death.
