For the final day of public classes as part of the Mastercourse, the Young Artists work with pianist Pauliina Tukiainen. Christoph Prégardien is our ‘Song Sofa’ guest at lunchtime, reflecting on his long and illustrious career. The eminent pianist Alexander Krichel gives a recital of Franz Liszt, including Schubert and Schumann song transcriptions, before Brindley Sherratt and Julius Drake perform Schubert’s Schwanengesang. A special late-night concert is given by the viols and voice duo Intesa, who interweave songs from the Italian Baroque with Armenian traditional songs.
