55. Beethoven Op. 130: Albion Quartet

The electrifying Albion Quartet - who gave a stunning performance of the Dvořák Piano Quintet with Christopher Glynn at the 2018 Festival - play Beethoven’s late masterpiece, the String Quartet in B flat major Op.130. They perform it with Beethoven’s original finale, the famous ‘Grosse Fuge’, that is still as arresting today as it was when it was first heard in 1826.
