We are thrilled to have co-commissioned a new work, Till Dawning, by leading composer Ryan Wigglesworth, in collaboration with Wigmore Hall and with the generous support of the Nicholas John Trust. This new work for soprano and piano sits alongside Wigglesworth’s extraordinary Echo and Narcissus, written in 2014 for the same forces as the Janáček Diary of One who Disappeared (see earlier concert), and Messiaen’s glowing Poèmes pour Mi.
