Mozart Requiem
26 October 2024, 3:30pm - 4:15pm
As the feast of All Souls draws near, it’s become something of a Festival tradition to include a choral Requiem performance. The Choir of Merton College - one of the leading standard-bearers of Oxford’s great choral tradition - together with Oxford Contemporary Sinfonia, tonight perform Mozart’s Requiem. Mozart was still working on this piece when he died in 1791 and it quickly became one of his most enduringly popular compositions.
