Songs of Farewell: James Gilchrist, Anna Tilbrook, Choir of New College & Robert Quinney
19 October 2018, 7:30pm 22 December 2024 - 6:26am
A very special evening concludes our Parry day, with a rare chance to experience choral music and song side by side in two different and magical venues. In the stunning New College Chapel, the world-renowned Choir performs Parry’s Songs of Farewell; while in the nearby Holywell Music Room, James Gilchrist and Anna Tilbrook perform songs by Parry and Jonathan Dove. At the interval, the two audiences swap places and the same programmes are performed again. Join us in Blackwell Hall on Broad Street for a celebratory glass of wine at the end, to ensure a shared and uplifting experience.
Please note that your ticket will make it clear which venue you should go to first. It will be essential that you follow this order. Festival Passes should start in
New College Chapel.
