The Songs of Edith Piaf
13 October 2026, 7:30pm - 8:45pm
This special performance in homage to Edith Piaf is a perfect pairing with the earlier concert this evening, not least as at the end of his life, Jean Cocteau also wrote for Piaf. Katie Bray is an ideal exponent of this music as a singer who can move seamlessly across a range of styles. Many will remember her extraordinary performance of Kurt Weill songs with pianist William Vann, who also plays this evening. They bring many of the most iconic songs that Edith Piaf performed, joined by a truly stellar ‘backing group’ and the renowned accordionist Murray Grainger. A sublime end to this Parisian day.
