Today we head to the wonderful Garsington Studios for an enchanting programme of Mozart and Schubert, with a lunch interval. In the afternoon, Robin Tritschler and Malcolm Martineau mark the 50th anniversary of Britten’s death and highlight some of the important relationships in the composer’s life. In the evening, we welcome back soprano Carolyn Sampson with pianist Joseph Middleton, for their captivating ‘Reason in Madness’ programme.
