Lucía Peregrino

Soprano

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Lucía began her musical studies at the age of 17 with mezzo-soprano Alicia Nafé and with Rozita Zozoulia, director of the Instituto Superior de Arte of the Teatro Colón. At the age of 18 she moved to Paris, where she studied with pianist Jean-Nicolás Diatkine, and later to Madrid, where she was admitted to the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid. There, she studied voice with Virginia Prieto and repertoire with Aurelio Viribay, graduating in 2023 with honors.

She also studied with soprano Carmen Subrido, tenor Juan Lomba, and Maestro Carlos Aragón. She has sung as a soloist at the Teatro Scala de San Telmo, Teatro Rivadavia, and Teatro Roma in Buenos Aires. In Spain, she was a soloist at the National Auditorium of Madrid, at the Royal Economic Society of Jaén, and has sung at the LIFE Victoria Festival in Barcelona. She has performed various roles, including Musetta in La Bohème and Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi. In the symphonic and oratorio repertoire, she has sung as the soprano soloist in the Requiem by Mozart and by Fauré. She recently performed the role of Mrs. Coyle in Owen Wingrave by Benjamin Britten at the 51st Festival della Valle d’Itria. In 2024 she was awarded the Special Prize of the Victoria de los Ángeles Foundation and the Special Prize of the Accademia di Bel Canto Rodolfo Celletti at the “20th Nuevas Voces Competition of Seville.
