Schubert Piano Duets
17 October 2026, 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Jan Philip Schulze arrives in Oxford for two concerts and as lead tutor on the Mastercourse. He is joined by Sholto Kynoch to perform Schubert’s Divertissement on French Themes, written in 1826 – an ideal continuation from Graham Johnson’s lecture-recital on that year in Schubert’s life earlier in the day. They also play Schubert’s F minor Fantasy, a late masterpiece and probably his best-known work for piano duet.
