Elizabeth Jiřičková
Elizabeth Jiřičková is Czech born violinist recently graduated with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in London where she studied with Giovanni Guzzo, Michael Foyle and Levon Chilingirian. Prizewinner of an international violin competition 'Homage to Vasa Prihoda New European Talents,' Elizabeth has recently performed recitals at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London and in Old Town Hall Tábor as part of Tábor Meetings Festival.
Elizabeth is a keen orchestral player. She gained experience in Orchestral Academy of South Czech Philharmonic and South Bohemian Theatre Ensemble. She participated in the Side-by-side project with Czech Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Maestro Semyon Bychkov and recently performed at the BBC Proms as part of the RAM/Juilliard Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Edward Gardner. She is currently co-leader of Sinfonia Cymru, performing with Bryn Terfel on a UK tour in October 2022.
Elizabeth has performed in festivals in the UK, Sweden, Italy and Austria and participated in masterclasses with Pavel Vernikov, Jack Liebeck and Josef Špaček. Future performances includes a recital serie in the Czech Republic with her duo partner Barbora Brabcová, in which they are focusing on less-known and undiscovered Czech repertoire for violin and piano
