Tom Zalmanov
Pianist
Tom Zalmanov performs extensively both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. He is a first prize winner of all major national piano competitions in Israel, recipient of AICF excellence grants and scholarships from the Israel Philharmonic.
He appeared in concerts across cities such as New York, Chicago, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, London, Geneva, Moscow and many more. He performed as concerto soloist with various orchestras such as the Jerusalem, Haifa and Tbilisi Symphonies and Bayer Philharmoniker in Germany.
As a graduate of JMC, he regularly works with Murray Perahia, and has participated in masterclasses with Menachem Pressler, Emanuel Ax and Angela Hewitt, Amongst many others.
He also worked with Sir Andras Schiff, Mitsuko Uchida, Christoph Eschenbach and Richard Goode. As a chamber musician, Tom collaborated with artists such as Kim Kashkashian, Mark Padmore, Miriam Fried, Colin Carr and Joseph Lin. He was a participant of the Ravinia, Four Seasons, Oxford and Marlboro music festivals.
