Songs after supper
14 October 2026, 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Lotte Betts-Dean, James Way and Natalie Burch imagine an evening at the Red House, home of Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears, in this delightful programme that was originally created for the Aldeburgh Festival. As well as songs by Britten himself (including his arresting Canticle II ‘Abraham and Isaac’), the programme includes music by their friends Joyce Grenfell, Gustav and Imogen Holst, Ernest Moeran and others.
