Fiona Macintosh

Fiona Macintosh is Emeritus Professor of Classical Reception and Senior Research Fellow of St Hilda’s College, University of Oxford. She was Director of Oxford’s Archive of Performances of Greek and Roman Drama (APGRD) from 2010-2024 and has published widely on the reception of Greek and Roman epic and theatre in the modern world. She has an Honorary Degree from the University of Grenoble-Alpes and in 2025 was made a Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Palmes académiques by the French Ministry of Culture.
